Do you have liability insurance?
Yes. Reel-to-Real is fully insured, and can provide you with the necessary documentation, if required by your venue.
How would you describe your editing style, in particular, for event and wedding videography?
We find that most people these days prefer not to be inundated with cheesy motion graphics, text, or overlays on their digital-video masterpiece. Instead, we offer tight multicamera editing packages, which minimize distracting camera movements and provide an almost “cinematic feel” to your DVD. Portions of your event (such as speeches, toasts, prayers, first dances) will often be kept in their entirety for your final production. Other, more ancillary activities (such as eating, socializing, and general dancing) tend to be best presented as a montage, set to music. Depending on the nature of your event, we will sometimes remove annoying anomolies (such as an excessively long pause in a program due to scene changes, intermission, etc).
Do you have referrals we may contact before we hire you?
Yes! We have many satisfied customers who would love to share their experience with you. Please contact us for more information.
Do you require a down-payment to book an event?
A down-payment of approximately 1/2 the final product price is expected upon signing up for one of our services. The remaining balance will be due when we deliver your final video production. Of course, if you book our services but need to cancel, this security deposit will be promptly refunded to you.
Do you accept credit cards?
Yes, we are able to accept all major credit cards for video service transactions. A small credit processing fee may apply.
How long will it take for you to edit my video?
This is entirely dependent on our current operating schedule and staff availability. We tend to turnaround most projects within 12 weeks of filming. Rush editing services may be available under certain circumstances – contact us for more details.
How far are you willing to travel for a wedding reception or other event coverage?
Our video pricing already accounts for travel time and expenses within 50 miles of Lansdale, PA. For events which are beyond this mileage threshold, a reasonable travel fee will be added to the cost of your final video production.
How long has Reel-to-Real been in business?
Reel-to-Real was founded in the summer of 2008. Since that time, we have grown considerably as a company, and now offer a full lineup of professional recording and editing equipment to meet our clients’ demanding video needs.
